This last week Katie and I received a mysterious package in the mail. It was addressed to us and had no return information. We opened it and found the Seafarers of Catan game extension! Amazing! As soon as we told my parents and sister, they jumped in the van and drove down from MN to play for the weekend (and to see us before the baby arrived). Katie won out of the blue.
We were all preparing for Greta (my sister) to take the win and then out of nowhere Katie built a city and two roads, stole Greta's longest road card and thus won the game. Katie is the green player on this board. Thank you to our Catan mystery donors. This was a real blessing and a lot of fun, however, Katie's success at this game grates on me.
